James' resulting collision left him with a gash on his head that needed stitches following the game , though luckily he did not suffer a concussion. Most observers seemed to agree that Bogut's foul didn't mean to send James toward the camera lens, as it was only placed as to prevent one of the greatest finishers in NBA history from tossing up a reverse layup at the rim.
