Warriors' Curry named All-Star starter; Green must wait The Warriors went 38 years without producing two starters in the same All-Star Game, and then they narrowly missed accomplishing the feat in back-to-back seasons. Point guard Stephen Curry will start for the Western Conference in the NBA's showcase game Feb. 14, but power forward Draymond Green was surpassed by San Antonio's Kawhi Leonard in the fan-voting results announced Thursday. Curry will be joined in the backcourt by Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook, and Laker Kobe Bryant, who was the NBA's top vote-getter in his final season, leads a West frontcourt trio that includes Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant and Leonard. Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson, who was an injury replacement in the starting lineup alongside Curry last season, finished fourth in voting among West guards this season.
