NEW YORK — The Warriors will arrive at the White House on Thursday morning, go through a security sweep, get a tour of the 18-acre complex and then participate in their championship ceremony. During the visit — nearly four months before the Warriors won the title, mind you — Curry asked to be shown the site of the championship ceremony. The defending champs rolling through D.C., the whole ceremony and the president speaking, I'm excited about it. The Warriors will visit the White House a day after completing a three-game road trip with a game against the Wizards. The entire event — from guests being seated to the team departing the Blue Room — is scheduled to take only two hours. When Curry visited the White House last year, President Obama — a basketball fan — asked unsolicited questions about head coach Steve Kerr and power forward Draymond Green.
