The 76ers are reportedly looking for veteran leadership during the upcoming NBA free agent season — and may pursue Warriors' forward Harrison Barnes to get it. According to an ESPN report that quoted league sources, the 76ers will make a "serious push" for Barnes when free agency begins at 9:01 p.m. Thursday. Noel, the sixth overall pick by the Hornets in 2013, sat out his first pro season recovering from an ACL injury he suffered in college. Barnes scored 14 points and made 4 of 5 three-pointers in Game 4 against the Cavs - which the Warriors won to take a 3-1 series lead.
