Kevin Durant has been named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon. In the Warriors' 115-102 win Saturday over Minnesota, Durant recorded 28 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and a career-high six blocks to become the first player in franchise history to have at least 25 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and five blocks in a game (blocks were first tracked in the 1973-74 season). In Friday's win over the Lakers, Durant dished out a season-high nine assists as Golden State pushed its streak of 30-assist games to 10. In addition to leading the Warriors in scoring, Durant is first in blocks (27), second in rebounds (137) and steals (27), and third in three-pointers made (37) and assists (82).
