While in New York to help hammer out the NBA's new collective bargaining agreement, Warriors majority owner Joe Lacob had dinner with Michael Jordan. The topic turned to Golden State's league-record 73 wins last season, which broke the mark set by Jordan's 1995-96 Bulls team. Jordan, now principal owner of the Hornets, apparently wasn't impressed by the Warriors' feat. During the 1996 playoffs, Bulls guard Ron Harper gifted his teammates T-shirts that read, "72-10 don't mean a thing without the ring." [...] eight months removed from his team's NBA Finals collapse to Cleveland, Lacob is immensely proud of Golden State's place in regular-season history. The team has hung a commemorative banner for those 73 wins in its practice facility, and it is considering putting up another when the Chase Center opens.
