Two days after he rested four of his best players in the Warriors' nationally televised loss to the Spurs, Steve Kerr proposed a way for the NBA to prevent such an issue from resurfacing. "The next step, in my mind, is for the league to get together with the broadcast partners and say, 'OK, here's the games we want on national TV,'" Kerr said after practice Monday. The league's marquee team, Golden State is playing an NBA-high 28 national TV games this season. Because national TV games must fall on specific days of the week (Thursdays for TNT; Saturdays and Sundays for ESPN and ABC), the league has limited options when making schedules if it wants its premier teams playing on those stages.
