During a career spent largely on professional basketball's fringes, Ian Clark has learned the value of staying ready. [...] with the Warriors in need of bench scoring, the reserve guard is reminding his skeptics that he is an NBA-caliber shooter. In three of his past four games, Clark has scored in double digits. In addition to being the highest-scoring game by a Golden State bench player since Jordan Crawford's 41-point outburst in April 2014, it was the third-most points scored by an NBA reserve this season, behind 40-point and 38-point outings from Lou Williams. In search of more scoring with Kevin Durant sidelined by a left knee injury, head coach Steve Kerr plans to give Clark some extended run when Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala return to the lineup in Tuesday's game against Philadelphia. With Leandro Barbosa now with Phoenix, Clark opened this season as the backup shooting guard. "I pride myself just on being ready whenever I'm called upon," said Clark, who is shooting 42.1 percent from three-point range this season. Durant suffered a sprained MCL and tibial bone bruise in the Warriors' Feb. 28 loss to Washington.
