Portland head coach Terry Stotts, reacting to the news that Kevin Durant will not play Wednesday night, was quick to point out how well the Warriors played when Durant missed 19 games this season with a knee injury. Durant averaged 29.3 points in four regular-season games this season against the Blazers. The Warriors still have plenty of firepower, obviously, with guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Asked if the Warriors play any differently without Durant, Stotts said, I think they play the same style. [...] Steph and Klay, having played for a number of years without Kevin here, makes it an easier adjustment for them, because they had so much success before Durant was here. [...] they have a style of play at both ends of the floor that they believe in.
