Could head coach Steve Kerr return to the bench? After Golden State's practice Thursday, general manager Bob Myers reiterated that Kerr is not yet ready to coach in games. The Warriors won't play again until June 1, when they host Game 1 of the NBA Finals for the third consecutive year. Since Kerr went on an indefinite hiatus from the bench before Game 3 of the first round, acting head coach Mike Brown has led the Warriors to 10 straight wins to make them the first team in NBA history to open a postseason 12-0. Kerr, who underwent a spinal cord leak procedure on his back May 5 at Duke University, was well enough to travel with the team to San Antonio for Games 3 and 4 of the Western Conference finals. Even before that, he was making an imprint on games by sitting in on meetings, voicing his thoughts to Brown daily and attending practices in Oakland.
