In 10 days, when the Warriors fly to China for two preseason games against the Timberwolves, Kevin Durant will return to the site of an emotional low point. In a profile for San Francisco Magazine, Durant opened up about the personal toll the criticism he received in the wake of signing with Golden State in July 2016 took on him. Shortly after announcing his decision to leave the Thunder, while on a week-long trip through China for a Nike-sponsored tour, Durant became overwhelmed by the flak he was getting from Oklahoma City fans. "To have so many people just say, 'F--- you,' that really does it to you," Durant told San Francisco Magazine's Jon Steinberg.
