Steve Kerr said it best on Friday: "Media day has changed a little bit." Indeed, times have changed for the Golden State Warriors in recent years, and so has the annual return to training camp. What used to be a small gathering of local journalists, Warriors media day has evolved into a full-blown circus, with dozens of writers, photographers, videographers, tweeters and instagrammers jostling for position. That's what happens when you go to three straight NBA Finals, winning two out of three. This year, the defending champions return to start training camp with virtually the same roster that steamrolled through the regular season and playoffs last year.
