Warriors forward Kevin Durant will miss Golden State's game Wednesday night against Minnesota with a left thigh contusion, the team announced after shoot-around. Durant sustained the injury during the first quarter of Monday's win over Miami. In 33 minutes, he scored 21 points on 5-for-13 shooting. Durant missed the Warriors' preseason finale against the Sacramento Kings, which cleared the way for guard Nick Young to start and score 15 points. Young, Omri Casspi, Kevon Looney and Jordan Bell will be in line for more playing time Wednesday with Durant out. Connor Letourneau is a San Francisco Chronicle staff writer.
