Warriors forward Andre Iguodala will start in place of Kevin Durant in Wednesday night's game against Minnesota, Golden State head coach Steve Kerr said. Iguodala, 33, is no stranger to starting. In 759 of his 986 career games, Iguodala has been in the starting lineup. Still, he will start just his second regular-season game Wednesday since the beginning of the 2014-15 season. "Defensively I like the matchup," Kerr said. "I like Andre's ability to give us tough defense against a really good wing combination that we are facing. Just a gut instinct. Give him a start to change it up a little bit. We have a lot of options off the bench, and we can kind of mix-and-match from there.
