The Warriors' new North American League of Legends Championship Series franchise will be called the Golden Guardians, according to an ESPN report. The Golden Guardians will be one of four new teams in the North American League Championship Series. The other new franchises are the Cleveland Cavaliers-owned 100 Thieves, the Houston Rockets-owned Clutch City Gaming and OpTic Gaming, which counts Texas Rangers co-owner Neil Leibman as an investor. The league's six other teams participated in this past season. Connor Letourneau is a San Francisco Chronicle staff writer. Email: cletourneau@sfchronicle.com. Twitter: @Con_Chron
