Warriors’ Kevin Durant to miss Nets game with sprained left ankle
PHILADELPHIA — Warriors forward Kevin Durant will miss Golden State's game Sunday night against the Brooklyn Nets with a sprained left ankle, the team announced. It is unclear exactly when Durant sustained the injury, but a team source said he suspects it happened sometime in the first quarter of Saturday night's 124-116 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Durant finished that game with 27 points on 11-for-20 shooting in 33 minutes. He missed the Warriors' Nov. 8 win over Minnesota with a left thigh contusion, which cleared the way for Andre Iguodala to start and score 11 points.
