Will Stephen Curry Be Named NBA Finals MVP after Making History?
Stephen Curry made NBA history and left Cleveland's bid for a second NBA title in three years teetering on the brink. On Sunday night, the Warriors guard scored 33 points on 11-of-26 from the field, hitting nine of 17 attempts from three points and adding nine assists and seven rebounds as Golden State beat the Cavaliers 122-103 to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. By scoring nine times from beyond the arc, the two-time MVP beat the record for most 3-pointers ever scored in a single game in the history of NBA Finals, which was set by Ray Allen in Game 2 of the 2010 Finals between the Celtics and the Lakers.
