SANTA CRUZ — Steve Kerr munched on dinner in the front row, enjoying his respite as a spectator. The capacity crowd numbered 2,476, not more than 19,000, in a fieldhouse-like gym two blocks from the beach. Even if this wasn't the NBA by any stretch, Jordan Bell wanted a good run — so he got one in Santa Cruz. Bell, six days removed from returning to action after missing nearly six weeks with a sprained ankle, played for the G-League Santa Cruz Warriors on Sunday night. He and Kerr figured it made sense for Bell to work on his conditioning and try to regain his rhythm in a game setting.
