Interim head coach Luke Walton spent more than half of his post-practice media availability Monday discussing Steve Kerr's progress in recovery from a spinal fluid leak, Andrew Bogut's balky back and Harrison Barnes' left ankle. [...] Kerr is progressing from two offseason back surgeries without an exact timeline for his expected return, Bogut is day-to-day and Barnes is expected to miss Wednesday's game and probably the Christmas matchup with the Cavaliers. Including Kerr, who started his leave of absence Oct. 1, and first-round pick Kevon Looney, who had offseason hip surgery - neither of whom have participated in a game this season - the Warriors have already missed 77 games because of injury or illness. Other than Kerr and Looney, Barnes leads the way this season - having missed 10 straight games with a high left ankle sprain and a bad bone bruise. Walton said the starting small forward is improving, but he will not play Wednesday against Utah and is doubtful for Friday's NBA Finals rematch.
