Now, various moguls including Oprah Winfrey are lining up as potential suitors. Winfrey is said to be in talks with media tycoon David Geffen and Oracle CEO Larry Ellison to make a bid for the team should it become available. But as attorney and San Diego State business lecturer Wendy Patrick says, they may not get the chance if the NBA doesn't force the sale of the team.
