Kerr says week off gives Warriors time to reflect on season

After getting a clearer handle on how he'll schedule the week, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said Monday that he values the time off and the chance it gives his team to reflect on such a historic regular season.The Warriors had a short, crisp practice Monday, mostly skill work and shooting."Anytime you have a weeklong break, it means you're still in the playoffs and you probably just handled your business pretty well," Kerr said.The Warriors also will take some time this week to look back on their 67-win regular season.Kerr won the 2014-15 Rudy Tomjanovich Award, which honors a coach for his cooperation with the media and fans, as well as his excellence on the court, the Professional Basketball Writers Association announced.The Warriors recalled center Ognjen Kuzmic and forward James Michael McAdoo from the NBA Development League affiliate in Santa Cruz, a night after the duo helped clinch the D-League title.Kuzmic had 10 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in 28 minutes, and McAdoo added 21 points and seven rebounds in 27 minutes.Warriors point guard Stephen Curry missed practice because of a "private matter" upon which Kerr wouldn't expand.Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson...
