Draymond Green agrees to 5-year, $82 million deal from Warriors

With a five-year, $82 million deal completed in principle with top offseason priority Draymond Green, the Warriors were able to turn their attention to courting top-notch shooters Wednesday.The Warriors' initial meeting in Los Angeles with Green and his agent, B.J. Armstrong, didn't yield a deal, but the prized power forward later announced on Twitter that "I'm going back to the Bay!!!"Based on updated salary-cap projections, Green could have received a five-year deal worth more than $93 million with the Warriors, but only a four-year deal worth more than $69 million from another team.DeMarre Carroll, who plays with infectious energy and stretches the floor with his shooting, as Green does, agreed to a four-year, $60 million deal with Toronto.The Warriors had planned to match an offer sheet of any length and any price for Green.Ellington (27, 6-4) played last season while dealing with the murder of his father and shot 37 percent from three-point range for the Lakers.NBA sources see the Lakers emerging as a possible destination, if they strike out on their pitches to LaMarcus Aldridge, DeAndre Jordan and Greg Monroe.The Warriors' two unrestricted free agents haven't seen much...
