Multiple media reports on Tuesday said that Nash, the Santa Clara alum who played 18 seasons in the NBA, will join the Warriors as a part-time assistant on head coach Steve Kerr's staff.According to ESPN's Mark Stein, Nash and the Warriors are discussing the former player becoming a part-time player development consultant.Stein said that Nash, who retired in March, was being aggressively lobbied by head coach Steve Kerr and team president Rick Welts to join the staff of the defending NBA champions.According to the story, the job would make Nash, 41, a tutor for the Warriors guards.Nash, a first-round pick of the Suns in 1996, played 10 seasons with Phoenix, six with the Mavericks and his final two with the Lakers.
