Warriors' Curry, Green on President Obama, Clippers' statements Two major topics of discussion after the Warriors' shootaround Tuesday morning were the players' interaction with President Obama in San Francisco on Saturday, and the Clippers' recent statements intimating Golden State was somewhat lucky to win the NBA title in June. Curry admitted, "You try to have fun with it." "If they're saying that, they weren't the champs," Green said. (San Antonio head coach) Gregg Popovich didn't say that. Curry played golf with President Obama in the summer. During that round, President Obama told Curry that Green is his favorite player. Curry was looking forward to Tuesday night's exhibition game against Denver, the Warriors' first appearance in Oracle Arena since the NBA Finals. "We've got to continue that home dominance for us to get back to where we want to get to this year," Curry said. Steve Kroner is a San Francisco Chronicle staff writer.
