Warriors Roll Past Shorthanded Rockets

The Warriors took advantage of an ailing Rockets squad and broke out of their preseason funk with a 123-101 trouncing of Houston on Thursday night at Oracle Arena. The Dubs’ domination started early, and the game was a laugher well before the first half came to a close. The Warriors shot 72 percent from the field over the first two periods, and their 48-point second quarter pushed the Dubs’ point total north of 80 points before play resumed in the third period.
