Stiff back keeps Warriors’ Klay Thompson out against Brooklyn
Klay Thompson didn't play Saturday night against Brooklyn because of the back stiffness that has bothered the Warriors' shooting guard intermittently this season. "He was a little stiff in shootaround this morning," interim head coach Luke Walton said about two hours before the game. [...] he's made 42.5 percent of his three-pointers in the past five games and said during the team's two-game trip through Memphis and Minnesota this week that stretching and treatment had him feeling 100 percent. Ezeli went into Saturday's game averaging 9.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocked shots. Bogut was averaging 6.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocked shots. Warriors reserve guard Leandro Barbosa missed his second straight game while tending to a family matter in Brazil. In honor of the 129 people killed in Friday's terrorist attacks in Paris, the Warriors had a moment of silence and played the French national anthem before Saturday's game.
