Warriors head coach Steve Kerr will make his return to the sidelines Friday night, coaching the defending NBA champions for the first time this season after undergoing a pair of offseason surgeries. Kerr started a leave of absence Oct. 1 in an effort to recover from a spinal-fluid leak caused by an offseason back surgery. Assistant Luke Walton stepped into the void as the interim head coach and helped guide the Warriors to an NBA-record 24-0 start.
