Warriors sneak out win vs. lowly 76ers
The rest of the team went through lapses when they looked like they had also been given the day off against Philadelphia, but they needed four of their starters and a clutch shot by Harrison Barnes to sneak out of the Wells Fargo Center with a 108-105 victory over the league's worst team. Draymond Green found Barnes in the right corner for a wide-open three-point attempt, which he swished with 0.2 seconds left to rescue the Warriors from a lackadaisical effort that allowed the 76ers to overcome a 24-point, third-quarter deficit. Robert Covington's dunk cut the Warriors' lead to 103-95 with about two minutes left, and Stephen Curry lost the ball out of bounds along the baseline with 1:45 on the clock. Nerlens Noel's dunk made it a six-point game, and after an Andrew Bogut miss, Ish Smith's jumper trimmed the Warriors' advantage to 103-99 with 1:01 remaining. Curry missed a reverse layup with 46.9 ticks on the clock, and Isaiah Canaan converted a four-point play with 38.6 left to cut the Warriors' lead to 105-103.
