Trail Blazers look for better start against Warriors in Game 2 "They're a first-quarter team," Portland head coach Terry Stotts said of the Warriors. Said guard Damian Lillard: We allowed them to get comfortable at the start of the game — and they just got rolling. The Warriors' aggressive defense forced Lillard into an 8-for-26 afternoon in Golden State's 118-106 victory Sunday. A lot of times I got into the paint and I was trying to be aggressive and there were two or three guys coming over to help," Lillard said, "and I was missing guys on the weak side for a more quality shot. Stotts said there's a "fine line" between making Lillard and fellow guard C.J. McCollum (5-for-17 from the floor Sunday) aware of an open teammate without limiting their ability to take the ball to the rim. Said Stotts: "I don't want to take away their aggressiveness of going to the basket — that's what they do well — but making the decision once you get there is one of our adjustments." Backup guard Gerald Henderson might have to adjust to a chorus of boos when he enters the game Tuesday night. Steve Kroner is a San Francisco Chronicle staff writer.
