Thunder’s Adams apologizes after ‘monkeys’ comment

Oklahoma City center Steven Adams apologized and blamed cultural differences Monday night for his postgame comments in which he referred to the Warriors guards as "quick little monkeys." Adams made the comments to ESPN's Chris Broussard on the Oracle Arena court moments after the Thunder took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven Western Conference finals with a 108-102 victory. Speaking to USA Today after the comments began spreading on social media, Adams said: Adams went on to say differences in language between New Zealand and the United States were to blame.
