The Warriors may match any opponent's offer sheet to restricted free agents Harrison Barnes and Festus Ezeli, if the franchise chooses to favor the players' track records over their most recent showings. Ezeli, 26, posted career-high averages in scoring (seven points), field-goal percentage (54.8), rebounding (5.6) and blocked shots (1.1) and was voted the Warriors' best teammate in 2015-16. Warriors lead assistant Luke Walton officially took his new post as the Lakers' head man Tuesday, and player-development coach Chris DeMarco is expected to join him in Los Angeles. Jeff Hornacek, who got the New York head-coaching job, Charlotte assistant Stephen Silas and Portland assistant Nate Tibbets all have been considered as potential replacements for Walton, but Myers said the Warriors' coaching staff "is not close to conclusion."
