The Golden State Warriors selected Vanderbilt center Damian Jones with the 30th overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft. Jones, 21, was a two-time First Team All-SEC selection during his time at Vanderbilt University. He ranks second on Vanderbilt’s career blocks list with 167, and his 1.69 blocks per game career mark is the second best in program history. He ranks third on VU’s all-time list in field goal percentage in a career (56.6) and led the SEC in field goal percentage as a sophomore (56.2).
