Warriors All-Star forward Draymond Green was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor assault early Sunday in downtown East Lansing, Mich., after allegedly slapping a fan who was taunting him at a nightclub, a source with knowledge of the investigation and police there said. Green, 26, was arrested around 2:30 a.m. after an altercation in the busy business district with numerous bars and restaurants, said East Lansing Police Lt. Scott Wriggelsworth. Green is a member of the U.S. Olympic basketball team and was a first-team All-American for Michigan State, which is located in East Lansing. After Green signed a five-year, $82 million contract extension last July, he donated $3.1 million to his alma mater — the largest student-athlete gift in Michigan State history.
