Kevin Durant changes approach to questions about why he joined Warriors

SAN DIEGO — Last week, when asked about the recent backlash he had received for lauding his new team, Kevin Durant said he would change his approach: "I'm just going to say how I feel from now on." Speaking to reporters after Warriors practice at UC San Diego, the seven-time NBA All-Star gave a new answer to a familiar question. After detailing last Monday the reasoning behind his decision to sign with the Warriors, Durant saw parts of those quotes surface on multiple ESPN shows, and later, relayed to longtime Thunder teammate Russell Westbrook.
