Warriors rookie center Damian Jones still getting his wind

The rookie center, who was inactive for the Warriors' 105-100 win Monday night over Atlanta, is expected to return soon to the team's NBA Development League affiliate in Santa Cruz. The hope is that extra time at the lower level will help him get conditioned and comfortable after his extended rehab from pectoral surgery. In two games with Santa Cruz last weekend, Jones averaged 3 points, 4 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.5 assists. Jones, 21, tore his right pectoral muscle while lifting weights 12 days before going 30th overall to the Warriors in June's NBA draft. "I haven't had a chance to watch the tapes yet of his D-League minutes," head coach Steve Kerr said. Though the return of Draymond Green received more attention Monday, Ian Clark showed no signs of rust after missing Saturday's game with a throat injury. The reserve shooting guard chipped in eight points on 3-for-6 shooting off the bench.
