Rookies Patrick McCaw and Damian Jones, who were assigned Thursday to Golden State's D-League affiliate in Santa Cruz, will get the seasoning a crowded NBA roster can't afford. An early-season revelation, McCaw was the rare second-round pick to carve out a spot in the rotation as a rookie. [...] the second guard off the bench behind Shaun Livingston, Clark leads the Warriors' reserves with 7.2 points per game on 52.8 percent shooting. There is a strong chance McCaw will begin shuttling more regularly between the NBA club and the D-League affiliate like Jones, who has averaged 6.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 10 games with Santa Cruz.
