Klay Thompson will play Friday night against Memphis, the Warriors' shooting guard told reporters. On Dec. 5, when Thompson scored a career-high 60 points in 29 minutes, he needed only 88.4 seconds of possession, 52 touches, 33 shots and 11 dribbles. Had Thompson been unavailable Friday, head coach Steve Kerr said he planned to start rookie Patrick McCaw in Thompson's place.
