In his first NBA Development League game of the season, Looney had 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting, 20 rebounds and two blocks. Rookie guard Patrick McCaw, playing his second game with Santa Cruz, had 10 points and five assists. More than a place to develop prospects, Santa Cruz is used as an opportunity to let players get playing time after sitting on the bench for extended stretches. Golden State rookie center Damian Jones, who has played Santa Cruz's last five games, had six points, seven rebounds and four blocks Friday.
