Thompson is sidelined by a sore right foot, and Livingston is returning to Oakland to be with his fiancée for the birth of their daughter. With Thompson out, head coach Steve Kerr will decide between starting Patrick McCaw or Ian Clark at shooting guard. The two have oscillated all season between second- and third-string shooting guard, with Clark playing 13 more minutes in Saturday's win over Oklahoma City than McCaw. On Dec. 5, when Thompson scored a career-high 60 points in 29 minutes, he needed only 88.4 seconds of possession, 52 touches, 33 shots and 11 dribbles. In addition to being without Thompson and Livingston, Golden State won't have centers Zaza Pachulia (right rotator cuff strain) and David West (fractured left thumb) against Denver on Monday.
