If only Kevin Durant had been wearing his trusty headphones after the game, too. The Denver Nuggets incinerated the Golden State Warriors on Monday night, burying the league-leading Dubs beneath an NBA-record-tying 24 3-pointers en route to a convincing 132-110 win. The victory opened some eyes to just how potent the Nuggets' offense can be when it's cooking — Denver now ranks ninth in the NBA in offensive efficiency, scoring a stellar 109 points per 100 possessions — and, with the 25-30 Nuggets sitting two games ahead of the Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings in the race for the West's eighth and final playoff spot, led to some idle speculation about what kind of fireworks we might see in an opening-round postseason matchup between the No. 1-seeded Warriors and No. 8-seeded Nuggets.
