Blazers shoot blanks in lopsided loss On a night when Kevin Durant didn't suit up, and when Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson played like mere mortals, the Portland Trail Blazers had a terrific chance to climb back into this first-round playoff series. Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum combined for 75 points Sunday, scoring on a dazzling array of jumpers and graceful forays into the lane. After losing the first two games in Oakland, the Blazers rolled to victory in Game 3 and pushed the Warriors to overtime in Game 4 (on the night Curry scored 17 points in OT). At any rate, the Blazers were universally terrible from the outset Wednesday night: 6-of-22 from the field in the first quarter, including 1-of-7 on three-point shots, eight turnovers, only two assists.
