Draymond Green dressed boldly and accepted his first Defensive Player of the Year award. Golden State Warriors big man Draymond Green has been named the 2016-17 Defensive Player of the Year, as revealed at the first-ever NBA Awards show on Monday. Green had finished second in voting to San Antonio Spurs superstar Kawhi Leonard after each of the previous two seasons before claiming his first DPOY.
