Stephen Curry's new contract puts him ahead of pitcher Zack Greinke for the richest annual salary in American sports. Stephen Curry has been the best bargain in the NBA for the past four seasons. The 2015 and 2016 MVP signed a four-year, $44 million contract extension with the Golden State Warriors at a time when ankle injuries threatened to ruin his career.
