It didn't take long to determine the Rockets' playmaker. Newcomer Chris Paul dribbled the ball upcourt on Houston's first possession. And the next. And the next. The first five times the Rockets had the ball Tuesday night in the season opener against the Warriors at Oracle Arena, Paul was the point guard. On the sixth, Paul deferred to James Harden, who brought the basketball up. It was the first regular-season game in which the two superstar point guards played in the same backcourt, the result of an offseason trade to help the Rockets try to catch up with the Warriors, and the first impression of this dynamic duo wasn't exactly extraordinary.
