Warriors’ Omri Casspi ruled out of Houston game
HOUSTON — Warriors forward Omri Casspi has been ruled out of Thursday night's game against the Rockets. Casspi strained his back during a voluntary workout Wednesday morning and missed that night's win over Dallas. With his back still bothering him, he is set to miss his seventh game this season. Head coach Steve Kerr said Kevin Durant, who was ruled out earlier Wednesday with a strained right calf, got injured in the first quarter Wednesday, when he came down awkwardly on a block attempt. Durant mentioned no pain during or after the game, but woke up with some soreness. "I think he'll be fine, but it's not worth the risk tonight," Kerr said. "I mean, he was pretty swollen.
