Long before he coined the Warriors' "Strength in Numbers" catchphrase, Steve Kerr was a frustrated reserve guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was 1991, and Kerr — his career still stalled in his fourth NBA season — was beginning to contemplate life after basketball. Midway through the season, when a teammate's injury forced him into the starting lineup for 20 games, Kerr showed off his shooting range and stopped pondering an early retirement.
