NEW YORK — Warriors forward Omri Casspi will start in place of the injured Kevin Durant on Sunday night against the Nets, Golden State head coach Steve Kerr said. Durant is sidelined with a sprained left ankle he sustained early in Saturday's win over the 76ers. Though the sprain isn't severe, Durant is being held out for precautionary reasons. The hope is that he'll be ready to play Wednesday against his former team, the Thunder. "He woke up this morning feeling pretty sore," Kerr said of Durant, who had 27 points on 11-for-20 shooting Saturday. "We've got two days to heal, which should give him a chance to heal and be ready for OKC. It makes sense to give him tonight off.
