NEW YORK — Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made a somewhat surprising call on whom to replace Kevin Durant, out with a sprained left ankle, with in the starting lineup Sunday: forward Omri Casspi. In his first start in 11 months, Casspi was a two-way force, posting 12 points, eight rebounds and two blocks in a season-high 23 minutes of Golden State's 118-111 win over the Nets. It was yet another reminder that he is a bargain at the veteran minimum of $2.1 million. "Obviously, you don't wish injuries on anybody, but that's one of the benefits of having a deep roster like we do," Casspi said.
