Warriors’ Klay Thompson discusses man-on-the-street interview

FOX 5 viewers in New York were surprised Monday night when Warriors guard Klay Thompson appeared on their local news, chatting about a scaffolding collapse in Manhattan. "I usually observe if the piping and stuff is new," said Thompson, who was identified on the chyron as "NBA player." "Sometimes, you know, if something looks like it's been there a while, I try to kind of avoid that." The clip, of course, quickly made the rounds among Golden State fans on Twitter, prompting laughter and self-reflection. "I really need to rethink how I walk under scaffolding after this," Marcus Fry said .
