Warriors’ Draymond Green coming into his own after unfocused start to the season
The turning point came Oct. 30 in Los Angeles. As the Warriors cruised to a 141-113 rout of the Clippers, Draymond Green returned to his stat-stuffing ways: 16 points on 5-for-8 shooting, nine rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block. After struggling to focus the first two weeks of the season, Green was finally back to the high-energy, do-everything player who is a driving force for the Warriors. "From that point on, I think he's been much more under control and locked in," head coach Steve Kerr said after practice Sunday. "To me right now, he's right where he needs to be." Green might be the most important player on a team loaded with All-Stars in their prime.
